LHC Indo-Swedish cooperation on innovative health care solutions.
Sweden has a well developed health care system that covers the entire population. Still there is significant potential to improve the efficiency of health care delivery through new ways of working. India on the other hand has a less developed health care infrastructure, but are at the present trying out new and innovative ways of organising and delivering health care to the population. This gives us a possibility to learn between the two systems, and to exchange knowledge about successful ways of working and organising health care.
Through an efficient and innovative organisation of the health care delivery system, high quality care may be delivered to more people to a lower cost. This project aims to identity new and innovative practices, and to spread the knowledge and utilisation of these.
LHC is initiating a large scale cooperation with a consortium of Indian Partners on health care management and innovative new solutions for creating health delivery systems.
In the first week in February, Health Week 2010 took place in India. LHC was one of the organisers, and had a 6 day program in Delhi and Hyderabad.
